We believe effective fumigations are necessary in order to guarantee to the safe delivery of our product to the end consumer. Monte Vista Farming has 40 fumigation chambers for finished goods, 3 of which are certified by the USDA. Not only are proper label requirements followed but the efficacy of fumigations are verified using a Port-A-Sense device which reads the concentration of the fumigant inside the chamber. Our well researched program allows us to have full confidence in the product we are shipping to our valued customers.
