Monte Vista Farming Company has been on a campaign
since 2001 to gain even tighter controls. Our facilities have been HACCP certified
since March of 2000. At that time Monte Vista Farming Company also instituted
formal programs in the areas of sanitation, hygiene, and pest control. Since their onset,
these programs have been intensified year after year. Daily processes also are vital to
what we are able to accomplish. Our quality control staff examines inventoried, as well
as in – process product continually to make sure our inventory is as detailed and accurate as possible. It is the
tight controls of these processes that allow Monte Vista Farming Company to put safe, high quality product in
each box.
